Closed Chapter

I just wrote an exam today, which happened to be the last high school exam I will ever have to write!  Exciting, I know.

I'm happy to be done, but bored out of my mind doing nothing all day.  I have resorted to chores.

I need a job, ASAP.

In Need of a New Haircut.

As you can read from the title, I need a haircut.  Badly.

And I'm thinking possibly the style above?  I have decided I want bangs and a not-so-standard cut.  I don't want it that short though.  I would keep my length.

It's like Christmas all over again.

Today was the annual I've Got Rhythm School of Dance Christmas Party, held at Moxie's.  I quite enjoyed myself, even though it was a tad bit awkward.  Anyhow, there was a secret-santa gift exchange.  I bought a white pashmina scarf and a bar of soap. Not just any bar of soap, it was worth 12 dollars.  Don't worry, it smelt nice.  So, the game is played by giving everyone a number.  The person with number 1, opens a gift and that is the gift they are stuck with, unless someone steals it.  I was number 6, and I decided to steal Myranda's Lulu Lemon gift-card.  I was sitting pretty for a while, and then Jen stole it from me on the second last round.  Sucked big time.  It was later in the game, and there were only two presents left.  I was going to open one but then I decided to open Gabby's.  I got some hand lotion, soap, and one of the loofas from the Body Shop. They all smelt nice, but I should have opened Megan's.  It was a Lulu Lemon gift-card.  I am kicking myself at the moment.

Chris, my boss/amazing dance teacher gave all the teachers these gorgeous track-jackets.  I am in love.

Lee Pace is stunning.

The end.

That's a joke, I couldn't just state one characteristic and be done with the subject.  Tonight, we celebrated Lee Pace's good looks and sweet expressions by watching his hit television show, Pushing Daisies.  The plan was to watch all nine episodes in the season, but I was exhausted and only got to seven.  I had seen all but the first anyway.  The show is absolutely brilliant, quirky, funny, ridiculously ridiculous... the list goes on. The colours are so vibrant and so are the characters, you can't help but be addicted.  Pushing Daisies is about pies and the people who sell pies, which I would never have guessed from the title.  But if you watch the show, there are many scenes filled with fields of daisies.  It's quite the show, watch it.

Right... a New Years Resolution.

I will try to keep it.  A year is a long time though.

Remember in public school, your teacher would make everyone commit to couple New Years resolutions.  Back then, you'd give up throwing crayons at your buddy Timmy or getting grass stains on your jeans.  But it's not like a 6 year old is going to give up smoking.  You didn't have much under your belt at a young age, so really what could you give-up? I'm just trying to make myself feel better if I don't succeed in this resolution thing.

Here is goes:

1. I want to start working out more.  I dance 3 nights a week, but sometimes I don't feel like it's enough.  I need to start doing some cross-training to balance out my jacked legs and stick-figured arms.

2. Eliminate/decrease the amount of sugar in my diet.  I've figured it out, I always feel sick after eating a cookie or chocolate.  So, I'm going to try to avoid sugar.  We'll see how that goes. Caution, may result is grumpiness.

3. Every year, my New Years resolution has been to make my bed everyday.  Hasn't happen, but it's a tradition.

Happy New Year!

So, it's officially 2008.

How weird.

Time scares me.  And seemingly has the habit to fly like a bird.  Or more like an airplane.

My New Years was really nice.  I went over to Cathryn's place.  My little, well so little, group of friends usually hold this event at, my other friend, Greg's house.  He didn't feel like entertaining us this year, but luckily Cathryn did.  It was nice and everyone had a good time. Although, sometimes I wish people didn't speak so loudly and could all sit around, play board games and sip tea.  Then I remember my age, and realize not everyone is capable of doing so. But I can dream, right?

Anyway, the night was fun.  I got a kiss.  Not from a boy though.  From Asha, which is just as good maybe even better.
